Dear St. Michael School Families,
It is hard to believe that we have only a handful of days left of this school year. As I said at the Spring Concert, it is an absolute pleasure to come to school each day! We have a wonderful community, and I very much enjoy being part of it. I look forward to continuing next year, as we begin carrying out our WCEA Action Plan goals and continued planning for the future.
As we end this year, I want to thank everyone for their efforts to build up our school community! We had many families that far surpassed their 20 volunteer hours; some even reaching over 100 hours of dedicated service to the school community! In addition, we did a phenomenal job with raising the needed funds for our operating budget. As you know, tuition simply does not cover all of our expenses. So, we have to close the gap with fundraising, With our two large fundraisers and some smaller events, we were able to bring in over $100k to support the school! In additon, we brought in a significant amount of dedicated funds for the security system and the 3D printer. It is a true blessing to say that our small school community raised that amount of funds. It truly speaks volumes about the amount of love and passion that everyone has for our school! Thank you to everyone, for sharing your time, talent, and treasure with us here at St. Michael School!
Today was a lovely morning, as we bid farewell to the 8th grade class at their prayer service. Then, we got to come back to the school and the 8th graders launched their rockets for us! Truly spectacular work! This weekend, we will have their graduation mass. It is a special time of year, as we wrapup; let's take a breath and slow down a bit to enjoy the last few moments of this school year!
with gratitude and love,
Alison

MANY THANKS
A huge thank you to all parents that volunteered their time and talents this past year. We were able to accomplish so much this year to ensure our children have the best experience possible at St. Michael School. From helping with Fine Motor or Art or Library to raising funds and building our community at the Wine Tasting Gala & Auction, Fun Run, Tabletop or Shamrock Bingo to helping with activities like dances, Livermore Downtown Christmas Parade, Picture Day, Yearbook, Book Fair and Grandparents/Special Guest Day to being a member of the School Board or the PTG Board our children benefited from all you did. Thank you!
Let's fill the Food Pantry for the summer! Throuhout these last few days, please bring in cereal, pasta, canned soup, canned vegetables, tuna, peanut butter (plastic jars), and maybe even crackers and fruit/granola bars. Many children will not have access to free breakfast and lunch programs at their schools, so let's support our local Livermore community.

Dear Parent(s):
On behalf of Cub Scout Pack 903, we would like to invite you and your children to learn a little bit more about what Cub Scouts is all about. Our pack is an active organization which participates in various activities year round, including hiking, camping, visiting local attractions overnight, community service, participation in local celebrations, and other fun and worthwhile endeavors. On a personal level, each of our trained leaders is dedicated to helping each child in the pack grow into citizens of character who live by the Scout Law, which is this:
“A Scout is: Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent”
We feel that teaching the kids to live these ideals is of great importance not just for the impact it will have on their own lives, but on their communities and our country in the future.
Lastly, Cub Scouting gives you, the parent(s) an excellent opportunity to spend time with your child, helping your son or daughter to learn new skills as you support them on the scouting journey. In this age of hustle and bustle, scouting provides a gentle reminder to slow down and spend quality time with our families and build memories that will last a lifetime.
We sincerely hope you will join us on June 1 to experience a small piece of what scouting has to offer. If you have any questions about the program, please do not hesitate to contact us.
In Scouting,
The Pack 903 Committee
