St. Michael School is considered a feeder school to Carondelet, Moreau, De La Salle, Bishop O'Dowd and other High Schools in the bay area.
Q: What does this mean to your child?
A: Favorability come time of admission acceptance.
If you or any family friends wish to have their children enroll in one of these coveted high schools, then consider laying the foundation now with attending and graduating St. Micahel School through 8th grade.
Well, we did it! Thank you to all that helped with building the 2019 SMS Christmas float and those that braved the rain to ride on it. The Lord answered our prayers and stopped the rain just in time for the parade to get underway. We even had snow in the way of a snow machine spraying the kids and plenty of Christmas cheer singing jingle bells. Although the sideboards with all the kids handprinted didn't fair well after the downpour the main "Let Your Light Shine" sign was able to be saved and is on display in the big hall. Don't forget to come to the Christmas concert after-party on the 17th for milk and cookies to take a picture under the sign.
Hope everyone is enjoying a Blessed Advent Season! As we approach the 3rd Sunday of Advent, JOY, we’ve added a “nativity joy” to the words of Dickens and we all signed the heart on our outdoor board promising to keep Christmas in our hearts “all the year!”
We have been enjoying Christmas crafts, our Christmas lights in the classroom and mostly outdoor play! We had a large donation from the Harwood family that provided sparkle to our crafts, great books for our library and numerous games for our shelves! Thank you!
Upcoming events:
12/17: The all school Christmas concert. Students are required to be dressed and ready to go in their classroom by 5:30. If your student will be in Eagle’s Nest after school, we ask that you please come at least by 5:00 with a heavy snack/ meal for them and to help them get ready.
12/20: Minimum Day. There will be Eagle’s Nest in the morning before school but there will be No Eagle’s Nest after school as we start our Christmas vacation.
Our indoor board looks forward to the coming of Jesus :)
