As St. Michael School celebrates its 111th year, we are excited to share that thanks to generous donations from our school families and parishioners, we have begun significant renovations to the school. The planned renovations address deferred maintenance, modernization of our students' learning environment, and bringing facilities up to today’s educational standards. We are redesigning and upgrading with modern architectural elements that foster a safe, high-quality environment, promote student engagement, and support teacher productivity.

Our Construction Plan includes: 

• Updating four bathrooms
  • Completed in 2023 
    
    
• Modernizing ten classrooms
  • Three classrooms under renovation are to be completed in June 2025 
       
    
• Replacing our existing fence
  • In the process of obtaining Oakland Diocese design approval and city permits

We are pleased to share that construction is progressing nicely, with essentially no disruption to school operations.

Again we are deeply grateful to the St. Michael School families and St. Michael Church parishioners for their financial support that is allowing us to modernize our facilities to serve our students for many more generations to come.
