This is a beautiful hike you won't want to miss! Part of the hike will take us under a canopy of redwood trees where the scouts will find lots of little critters. At the ridge line there is a canopy of eucalyptus trees that will provide some shade. See below for a more detailed description of the hike. This hike is mostly easy with one short steep climb and doesn't really feel like it's 5-6 miles. Since this is a longer hike please bring at least 2 liters of water per person. When we reach the ridge line there are restrooms and water fountains.
