St. Michael School is a Christ-centered community inspiring future leaders through academic excellence strengthened by faith.
This week, we are spotlighting our phenomenal scientists and engineers! Throughout the school, our students learn to be collaborators, critical thinkers, and they learn the scientific process of trial and error until they creatively reach their solution.
Dear St. Michael School Families,
For the past couple of months, the School Board and Faculty and Staff have been working on revising our Mission statement to accurately reflect who we are today as a school community. The Mission statement (above), is our final draft. It accurately portrays both our excellence in academics and faith.
Each week, we will be spotlighting a few photos from various grades to show how we are living out our Mission. We hope that you enjoy a peek into our classrooms!
As we have come back from our Christmas break, our middle school teachers have been receiving photos and letters from our Class of 2019 students who have ended their 1st semester of high school. It's wonderful to read about their success. Many are in Honors Freshman Classes and are in the top rankings of their Freshman Class. Truly awesome to receive a photo of a perfect 4.0 report card! It's wonderful to read their personal stories of how well-prepared they have felt as they have transitioned from
St. Michael to their respective Catholic and public high schools. Way to go SMS Eagles!
I do ask that you please consider volunteering to help with the upcoming Book Fair. We are in need of several volunteers to help make the event a success. We especially need helpers to assist Mrs. Dayton with the packing up on the last day. Thank you for your generous voulnteer spirit!
Blessings of Christ's Peace,
Alison
Our next meeting will be this Thursday, January 16th from 7 pm to 8 pm in the STREAM room. All SMS parents and guardians are welcome to attend.
Happy New Year! Thank you to all for your warm wishes and wonderful treats and donations! We truly appreciate you thinking of us!
January’s theme in Eagle’s Nest is focused on The Magic Tree House series where we herald that “Adventure is waiting in every book!” Come check out the outdoor board where students finished the sentence “I love Saint Michael School because…” on the book covers. They were very thoughtful in their answers and creative in their drawings :) We are looking forward to Catholic Schools Week and the Scholastic Book Fair!
