Why I Teach at St. Michael School Ever since I was in third grade, I have wanted to teach at a Catholic school. I chose to work at St. Michael School because I love the community and it is important to share a faith-based education with my students.
My Philosophy of Teaching My classroom is a safe, welcoming, Christ-centered environment where students learn in many different ways. I believe all students have the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
My Background I received my bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Cal State University East Bay. My love for education stems from attending Kindergarten - 8th grade at St. Raymond School. I taught in a public school for five years prior to joining the St. Michael School team in 2021.
My Life Outside St. Michael When I’m not in the classroom, you can find me spending time with my family, reading, or enjoying the outdoors.
