Why I Teach St. Michael School I chose St. Michael School for the strong academic reputation they represent in Livermore. I like the sense of family and community that are so well know for, as well as the religious aspect they bring to the students.
My Philosophy of Teaching I believe that learning can be fun! My teaching style is to get the students up and out of their chairs and engage in the curriculum as much as possible. I like to get the family involved in the learning process, which in turn helps promote more family time and engagement.
My Background I worked in Finance Management for a Fortune 100 bank for 28 years before becoming a homemaker. When my children were in high school, I returned to college to get my Teaching Certificate. I taught ages two through Pre-K for ten years, before starting my career as a Kindergarten teacher at St. Michael School.
My Life Outside St. Michael I am a crafty person, so I enjoy throwing myself into a good crafting project! I love spending time with my family and we all love to travel. I love my two sweet dogs, and spend lots of time spoiling them. A fun night out with friends and family feels my soul!
