Why I Teach at St. Michael School
I wanted to teach at St. Michael’s because of the incorporation of our catholic base teachings with our educational curriculum.
 
My Philosophy of Teaching
In my 28 years of teaching art education, I’ve always tried to instill my saying , “There are no mistakes in Art, just changes”. I believe art education is an integral part of learning that helps with the fundamentals needed for their growth.
 
My Background
I am a graduate of Bachelor of Fine Arts, major in Advertising. I graduated with a Magna Cum Laude honor. I’ve been teaching art education for the elementary grades for 25 years and 3 years for middle school. My art education background started with the San Ramon Valley Unified School District.
 
My Life Outside St. Michael
My hobbies are cooking and baking (culinary background), singing and writing contemporary country music. (I recorded in Nashville, Tennessee and released CD under Tristone Records.) And of course spending quality time with my two grandsons who are the love of my life.
